Lost

Hello dear friends, how are you? As you may have noticed I haven't been really blogging so often anymore. A lot has happened in the past few months, which disrupted my focus on this blog. But what held me back the most is what I want to do with this blog.

Mainly I've been dressing up for pictures and share you what I'm wearing and why and so on, but I've kinda lost the feel of it. Facts that keep me away from blogging this way: 1. you've probably seen me wearing this for the 10000 time 2. it's boring, because I'm wearing most of the time black (IRL, 99%) 3. is it even interesting 4. no outfit inspiration (because black and wearing most the same) 5. not feeling it or 6. no time. To be specific about the last one, I'm in my transition and master year in graphic design and this is a very important and big part of my daily routine, and realised that I don't longer have the time to focus on what I wear.

What I want to say is that I don't want to see my blog as a fashion catalogue, but more as a place where I can express myself in a more casual and spontaneous blogstyle. I just wanted to let you know, and I'm excited to continue in a more laid back style. Just rambling about my day (not that it's interesting), show you my 10000th black outfit or bits and bobs of schoollife. Just simple. (I hope this post made sense, haha)

Love, Doris

  5. I feel like it's only natural to feel a void when it comes to blogging, especially after running through a routine of posts that seem like new versions of the same posts. I always enjoyed your style content, and even if you did wear black for the majority of the time, I still found each post inspiring!
But I am excited for your new approach as well. All the best with your academic endeavors! I hope everything goes smoothly :)
